I am going to start a new series on my blog called Cookbook Reviews where I will review all the cookbooks in my possession. I have so many cookbooks, I'll say that I am a cookbook collector :) and more than half of them I have not used once! Not good, so I'm going to start this series (hopefully have a post regarding a different cookbook at least every Tuesday) to force me to begin going thru my cookbooks!
I will begin with one of my "go to" cookbooks The Joy of Cooking. Do you have this cookbook? Is it one of your go to cookbooks? A co-worker recommended I purchase this cookbook SEVERAL years ago and one of the reasons it was recommended was because of this Pumpkin Bread Recipe pictured below. It's such a good recipe, I make it as often as I can. I love this cookbook it has such great recipes and for me it's such a good reference tool. I look up all the time things like what should the temperature of meat be when it's cooked... to certain levels of doneness, etc. I definitely couldn't live without this cookbook in my repertoire.
